Hi, my name is Bruce Jensen, and I am a dedicated family man, who is committed to helping people, families, and communities heal and foster compassionate, heart-centred relationships.

I am Canadian Certified Counsellor, holding a master’s degree in Counselling-Psychology and an Undergraduate degree in Addiction Counselling. What drew me towards the path of helping and serving others was my own healing journey, and a great desire to help out not only myself, but those around me as well.

My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and non-judgmental, with a focus on creating a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions. I emphasize building strong therapeutic relationships and employ evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), along with integrative techniques from Gestalt, Jungian, Narrative, and Transpersonal approaches. This allows me to tailor personalized treatment plans that meet each client’s unique needs. I have experience helping adolescents, adults, couples, and groups, navigate issues like mood disorders, grief, relationship challenges, and traumas.

Additionally, I am able to help people addressing addictions (behavioural, process, & identity), attachment styles (particularly anxious and disorganized), and spiritual concerns, including cult recovery and non-ordinary experiences. Additionally, I have training in Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, focusing on preparation and integration, to help people embody insights into their daily lives.
