5-Week DBT Skills Group
This interactive group was adapted from the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills Group Manual by Marsha Linehan, incorporating the four core DBT modules: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. It is a structured skills group that is both psychoeducational and experiential in nature, as it is engaging, allows for participant engagement and allows for time to practice some of the skills each week.
- Length of group: 5 weeks
- Length of each session: 120-minute sessions + 10-minute break
- Days/times: Tuesdays starting March 25th, 2025 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm central time
- Cost of group: $50.00 per session (per person), total cost: $250.00
The group will be structured as follows:
Week 1: Introduction
Week 2: Mindfulness Skills
Week 3: Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills
Week 4: Emotion Regulation Skills
Week 5: Distress Tolerance Skills
